Video Games: Still Games or Fancy Simulations?
So, as I was playing the new Madden game for xbox, I started thinking. Video games have made great leaps and bounds these past years, but at what point do they go from video games, to just straight simulations? As I ran the ball with the running back, I ran into my own teammate by mistake and fell onto the ground. Hmm. That's a little too realistic for my taste. In my own opinion, I believe that video games should still have that video game feel to them, and not completely realistic like so many games are today. For example, a game that I frequently play and dump hours into is Diablo 3. I love running around slaying demons for the heck of it. But other newer games have me losing interest in them. I play video games for that reason, to play video games and get away from life. But as they become more and more and more realistic I find myself losing interest in the genres I used to love so much, sports, and heading towards the more creative genres like RPG's and MMORPG's. While technology is great and I love the new physics engines that they're able to implement into these games (Infinity, Warhead, Source, just to name a few of the big ones). The possibilities with these are endless, and best of all, you can use them to do your own crazy stuff if you feel like it. But as I said earlier, these games are becoming less and less games and more and more simulation, and I'm not a fan. Oh well, I guess I'll stick to battling the demons of hell and any other various monster I stumble across ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Why not make those games you mention in your post all links that take your reader to the page of the actual game, Dakota?
